Hi all

Another newbee here. We have 2 white babies in our life, Mille` 20month girl with a red mask and baby Ray, 16week old boy the a black mask. I have been brought up the GSD and never have 2 breeds been so different. Is it me or do Boxers think they're human, or perhaps they think we're dogs??? Such a pleasure to own, even when Mille` helps herself to my slippers and when little Ray works his way up between the pillows at night. He's well chuffed that he can get on the bed all by himself:banana:
We've had Mill's from a pup and also had another boy the same age as her, Buster, he was fostered into her litter at 14days old because his owner wanted him put to sleep along with his other white brother, because they were white................These people don't deserve to raise any pups...........Unfortunately Busty died 3 weeks before Christmas from a heart attack, despite 2 weeks earlier being given the all clear from the cardiologist, very sad but he had a great life. Poor old Mille` was soooo sad we had to get another, so we now have baby Ray and she loves him to bits. Some uneduacted dog walker the other day asked me if Ray was a Jack Russell!!!!:eek:I ask you....some people hey??

Wrap up warm all:snow: on it's way x x x

Re: Hello all whitestuff

:hello: and welcome.

Sounds like you have plenty of white stories to share already! What a shame about Buster, but at least someone had the common sense to foster him rather than have him pts, just because he was white :vangry:

I bet Milly and Ray have loads of fun together and I can't wait to see photos soon!!

I am Karen and live in NE Scot with my two girls Sasha and Tizzy - very cold here just now!! Where abouts are you?

p.s. I have movedy your post to give you a thread of your own - that way we can say hello personally!! :welcome:

Re: Hello all whitestuff

Hi there, thanks for that lovely welcome. :bighug:

I'm Gemma, proud mummy to Mille` and baby Ray

We're from sunny Midsomer Norton (a small town south of Bath), no snow here, really wishing it would snow as Ray hasn't seen any yet.

Just a question out of the blue??? Do your girls like swimming????? When we had Buster he tried to swim but tended to just sink, his back end would float and head would go under.....Mille` on the other hand would only go in up to her elbows, too afraid of getting her undercarriage wet......she's a funny old mare...

Gem x
p.s had do i upload pics of me pooches?????

Hi Gemma

Love your intro, mad me smile and laugh out loud - you are spot on with all your experiences and observations.

I have 2 boxers, a white called Tasha and a brindle called Molly. Both are almost human in the way they behave at times.

Re: swimming - Both mine can swim, Tash tends to only when she really has to or wants too and Molly is a real water baby. Your quite right about their bums floating and front end sinking. They are not what you would call natural swimmers!

Great to have another newbie on board.

You canupload pics by opening a photobucket account. Photobucket will guide you through how to get the pic's from your PC and once they are copied onto photobucket you just copy and paste a link and hey presto you can share your pic's.

Just shout if you want more tips on photobucket as the above is only a very basic overview.

Kind regards

Paul

Sasha wont go past her knees so I doubt she enjoys swimming!!!

Tried taking her out of her depth when we were actually in the sea with her - had we been in trouble we were scuppered because she was going no further

Hi sashasmum!

Mille`'s just the same, couldn't possibly swim, she's too much of a lady, doesn't wanna get her hair wet.:pokingfun:

She was being a tad brave the other weekend, ran out to see my husband while he was bodyboarding, but came to an abrupt halt when the waves splashed her belly:eek:

Re: Hello all whitestuff

eeeekks!

Buster did the same kind of thing when we went on hols to Wales, decided to follow my friends spaniels in but got out of his depth, I nearly sent my hubby in to save him:rollingeyes:

I guess boxers aren't born swimmers, just natural splashers, preferring to spend an afternoon in the backyard with a hosepipe or paddling pool!
