Its got very quiet on here - where is everyone?

Took mum out today for her lunch - well we ate it in the car with the dogs breathing down our necks. Got hot plastic cups of veg soup and thick chunks of buttered wheaten bread - lovely. Sat and ate it at the sea - raining outside and windy too. Rosie wasn't bothered but Katie insisted on having my last bit of wheaten bread which I had to break in two to give a bit to Rosie.

I don't think that will happen Karen - not with all our boxer babies - there is always some mischief that they will be getting up to!!!!!

We used to have a place local to us in Epping Forest that done really nice vegetable soup and thick chunky bread - It was like a little hut / burger bar in the forest that had been run by the same people for years. Last year some new people took over and changed the menu - they closed down within months. We went just after they took over and i asked for a bacon sizzler which was one of the old peoples specialities (a bacon, fresh tomato and cheese baguette) and although they had all the ingredients there they flatly refused as it was not on their 'new menu'. I am not surprised with their attitude that they didn't last long. We used to love going and get hot steaming soup in the winter and looking out over the forest. (no-where near the sea here)!!! I really miss it.
