If you are lucky enough to have clear skies over 17th and 18th November, (this weekend) and are out and about late at night, keep your eyes peeled on the heaves for some meteors!!
These are called the Leonids and happen every year - look to the east after 10pm or early hours of the morning. Meteor shower info Armargh Observatory The best Astronomy Club in the country with a really good website to look through!! We have complete cloud cover here and are expecting snow - so please let me know if you see any!!! Enjoy! |

I do like your astrological updates Karen, the one in Summer was very good.

I was talking to a friend's mother the other day and I mentioned that I was a member of the local astronomy club ........ she said "oh, I'm a Leo, what does that mean?" I said " I wouldn't have a clue - I do stars not crystal balls!" |
