I was reading an earlier thread where Jacqui suggested starting up a club for White Boxers - did this ever take off? I would be very interested in helping to set this up, I feel there is a need for it out there. White Boxers are not going to go away, so long as flashy Boxers are being bred there will always be white puppies crop up. Look back on the history of many breeds. For example. Chinese cresteds. Puppies with hair were sold off cheaply to pet homes, that went on for years until caring breeders/exhibitors got together and decided they should be classed as "two" now both are shown and classed as eual. At one time Chihuahuas long and short haired where shown together, bred together. Now they are separate. The list goes on. Existing breeders seem to think that those of us interested in setting up a club for our white babies ultimately want to breed, I dont believe that is the case at all. We want our babies accepted by society in their own true right. From I got Katie the number of peiople who have been bowled over and mesmerised by her are not countable. Many of them did not even know that white Boxers existed. At one time there was a white boxer club in the UK. Does anyone know if it still exists and who runs it? Jacqui - lets make your idea work!:roundnround: I already edit a Newsletter for Boxer Lovers/Owners, I would be willing to do a separate one for White Boxers but I would need help and people to send me articles [that is how the newsletter is run]. The newsletter goes out quarterly by royal mail. Once we have a club together - we can take things further. Come on everyone - help Jacqui fulfill her dream........Lets get out white babies accepted in their own club.

Come on everyone - if you dont want to give your address out, I can send the newsletter out by email - I run Word XP but it should be compatible with other versions of word. It can be sent out as an attachment.
What about adverts in the dog press - what do you all think?

Even though Heskey is a red boxer, would love to join. Jake was a hugh beautiful white boxer so my affinity remains!

Willing to put my name on any list that helps people understand our white babies.
A friend of mine saw Sasha earlier this week - he had never met her before. He had known my other girl and when he saw Sasha he just said "she cant be a boxer, they dont come in white!!" Then she bounced him and gave him loads of kisses so he had to consent that she was a boxer!! Karen  |
