Well I've officially been out of work for 2 weeks and I've had 3 interviews. I had an interview last Thursday and on Tuesday they offered me the job!!!! Just got to wait for references and CRB check to go through and then I can have a start date!!!! Am so relieved and am excited about a new beginning!!!

Finally got the second reference back and health check cleared and those of you on FB will know I start on Monday. We are busilyt rying to find a cheap small car as I have to travel 60 miles to get to work and it will be cheaper than public transport. My Mini is great but as I'm buying it on one of those lease pllans I am limited to 10000 miles a year and this job will be 2000 a month!!! I will keep the Mini to transport Gixer in style and for "best". Ive been battling with my conscience about having 2 cars that are mine but as Brett said it's almost like having a company car!!! Just pleased to be working again and I can keep looking for something closer but there's not a lot aroun - at least I don't have to go to the dreaded job centre again!!!!

great news!!! we had a lease...it sucks!!! we still owe on it, but ooooh well lol. good luck finding a lil car, u can call tom lol i bet he could get u a great deal haha!!!! hes still at nissan, but closer to home thank god! gives me n the kids a lil more freedom cuz we can take him to work n pick him up! 60 miles isnt all that bad....its pretty normal for this area to drive that plus some.....b4 all this crap started tom was driving 75 miles each way. what r gas prices over there???
