Well here we are well into yet another year.
Hope you all had a nice Christmas - seems ages ago now? Ours was quiet, we went to my brothers for the 25th and had a lovely meal. My sister in law had to work so my brother and nephew did the meal and it was lovely, they did themselves proud The animals were all thoroughly spoilt Jac was neutered earlier this month so that is all the surgeries over for a long time, hopefully Mum is still attending the Macular Clinic. They seem to have got one eye settled but the left still needs injections I had a nasty fall about two weeks ago, fell on stone floor (kitchen) and hurt my left shoulder, right hand and knees. I still cant grip anything with my right hand and have very limited movement in the thumb. As you get older you dont bounce up again so well Hope this finds you all well and have a belated Happy New Year

We have had some pretty bad days with Katie not eating, she has got very thin again. She just won't eat the renal food
. For a few days mixing cat food into it helped, then she stopped eating again. Now trying wee bit of chicken. Vet would not approve, protein too high however honestly think its better she eats something than nothing. It's heartbreaking to watch her as she's so miserable when she's like this. The Vet dropped her Omeprazole from 20mg to 10mg as she now needs it daily and think she's missing the larger dose. Still can't use the thumb Sandy, my shoulder very painful on certain movements but I will get there

How are things now Helen? My heart aches' for Katie and all our sick babes.
Remember 10 years ago on here? They were all young dogs bursting with life and vigor for new adventure. The clock kept ticking! We live and love and cry!
