Thank you for the hello in the "Where do you live" thread! I am here, I pop in every so often and read. I know I hardly ever post anymore, I am sorry but I am still here and I do read as much as I can. I know I always say this too but it is just so busy here all the time. I think I posted an update awhile back, actually quite awhile back. I was busy with Christmas and I had a very sick relative that I stayed by his bedside until he passed. I thought I would be here more....then my INLAWS moved in with us!!! Problems with their house so we had them here! We had our daughter and the dogs sleeping in our bed with us, grandparents in daughters room AND a nephew on the couch for a month! AND, my best friends 15 year old daughter who I am not sure if I have mentioned?? Well her daughter Jessica had cancer and she was going down hill AFTER the treatments for a year were OVER! Well she passed suddenly a few weeks ago so that has been very hard. I also started a night class at the college in town. And I just got my first job in 15 years! I have been there about a month now. I am working at a groomers! Not sure if its for me :dunno:

Tank the newest member I am sure I mentioned is a monster :doh:

but we love him. Ed and Oliver still hate him.
There just doesn't seem to be enough time in a day! I am not used to this working and running a house thing, plus all the other things that keep coming up! Hopefully I will get a hang on this and be around more!!
I miss being here! I have missed so much and I see new names that I don't recognize :sad:

Good news is I just got new hours so I may have more time...MAYBE because I also got 2 other job offers that I am considering :doh:

Great to be here for a bit! Don't forget me :worried:

Never forgotten about you Nicki and great to see you again :wave:

Sorry to hear all the sad news, it's hard to see loved ones suffer, but even harder to say goodbye to them.

I would go nuts with that many folk in my house - think I would have moved out, definitely wouldnt have lasted a whole month!!

Congratulations on the job - I am dreading the day I have to go back into the outside world, typing is the only skill I still have from my work days! Last time I worked on a computer, windows hadn't even been invented!! :thud:

Good to see you again, hopefully that was the first of many posts :cheering:

Hi Nicki

Sounds like a roller coaster ride of emotions and life experiences at the moment Nicki, sorry to hear you have more to cope with although I am sure you are being a rock for eveyone else!

As karen has said, never forgotten and that is for sure. I thought my life was hectic with 3 kids, 2dogs and both of us with full time jobs but yours sounds manic.

You must be due a break any time soon and I am sure thngs will start to get easier.

Great to hear from you Nicki and hope to see you around more often if you get the chance.
