Not even done and I broke it
Hey, I think you guys might be the only ones really able to help me here. I am doing a deisel swap into an early 90's car and I broke the plastic nipple on the vacuum pump. I broke clean off. And the problem is that I can't seem to be able to find just the top half of the pump that has the nipple. Evey one wants to just sell me the whole pump. Do know where I can find a new top piece or an extremely cheap pump i can part out? The engine is an 1.6l 82 w/ the rotary style pump.

drill a hole in the top of the pump and thread in a nipple. put a piece of hose on it and then the check valve. this works , ive seen it done many times.
