FIT A 3.0 911 SC (6 cilynder)
A question: I have a convertible beetle from 67 and want to fit this motor, but before to buy, if is possible, want to know if some one did it..

If anyone has A 1967 and older bug thay sould realy keep the oem motor in it 67 and older bug are rarer bugs, but 1968 and new 914 motor. But what I have seen before is people taking the 1300cc motor witch is what I think is I your 67 and putting like A 1970's Super Beetle 1600cc motor that way you git A beetle sound with the old look and its alot better on the bank. A 914 could run you for A good running motor around $6000 I found HOT VWs mag that you can git A 2200cc motor for $3000 and it would bolt right in.

I'm interested in this same swap in a '79 Type 1. And this is the VW/Porsche swap forum, why would you direct someone away from that
