i have 70 bug wondering if can put a 1973 914 motor i my car. since i goin fenderless anyways. and what tranny is got for that...

It is by far the easiest conversion to do. All you need is a bus flywheel with a slight modification. Check out several of the type 4 into type 1 websites.
