Water Temps?

In the Heat of the Summer do I need to run a thermostat in my Subaru engine? My carís water temps run around 190 Ė 200 degrees Fahrenheitís when the outside weather temps are hot. Iím told that Subaruís run hot usually in the same temp range is this correct what are others who run Subaruís temps running at? Iím pretty sure that the current thermostat that I have in the car is a 185 maybe 190 degree thermostat and I have it drilled with relief water pass through holes. Does Subaru make a lower degree thermostat say something like a 150 or 160 degrees for hotter climates, if so where can I get one? Maybe Iíll just try to remove the thermo for a test to see where my temps run?
