Another Bay window rad set-up!

Here's the set-up I'm gonna used for my diesel engine:

Rad's are from 80-84 Honda Civic, for the left i used a rad from a manual, on the right i used a automatic one, although you can't see it hte fans are behind them they're connected to their own thermoswitch

I'm gonna run them in series, as the coolant exit the water-pump, it'll run into the right rad, then go to the left one, I made some calculation and I'm pretty sure the left cooling fan won't start unless severe running conditon/weather temperature!

They definately look as if they belong there. Am I seeing three hose outlets on each rad? Makes for user friendliness, huh?

Re: Another Bay window rad set-up!

Hey Yann, I have been considering this setup for a while now. I am currently running an EJ22 with the radiator up front, but don't like where it sits, the 18 litres of water it takes, or how long it takes to come up to temp. I reckon your solution removes all these probs, have you had any problems with getting too much hot air in your engine bay?
Any other comments would be appreciated.

Cheers, Axel.

I have a similar setup but with one large rad on one side instead. was alot easier to plumb up.

hey cool idea! Did you research and find out that that civic rads were the best? Where will you be putting the battery? I'm thinking about doing something similar with an ej20 engine. thanks
