New Rad mount location

Can anyone think of a downfall to mounted the radiator horizontally above the gas tank with a small hood scoop or something, and a shroud to get rid of the hot air after wards?

you may need insulation or a plate between the 2 as the rad at temp will be passing air through at a high temp causing the fuel to vapourise in the tank and thus pressurise the tank forcing vapour out of the breather. unless you have flow up from the front and out of a reverse scoop towards the windscreen.

Getting airflow to the radiator might be a bit tricky, if it is placed horizontally? If you place it at an angle it might be easier.

And you should think about a way how to bleed the air out of the radiator.

Do you plan on putting the hot air exits on the side of the car?
