Zenjoe's radiator placement: Pictures!!!

Here are pictures of my radiator setup on my rotary powered bug. The radiator is out of a 81/82 Mazda Rx-7 and is a 3 core brass radiator. This setup worked very well and I drove it like this for about 30,000 miles and never overheated! Even running to the VW Classic (400 miles through the california desert at well over 100 degrees outside) with 3 people in the car.

The radiator was placed into the car backwards, and I soldered 90 degree copper bends to the radiator to have the outlets go toward the side of the car. Feel free to ask questions.

Oh, and the reason everything looks like crap is because this is after about 20000 miles of driving. Sadly I had to sell my conversion (pictures are from the disassembly process) to help fund our adoption efforts. When I first built this thing, I was a poor college student and couldn't afford proper fans, so to the junkyard to get some AC use AC fans.... Well it worked!! Everything was covered up and the trunk was upulstered so it actually looked decent....
