You CAN use a Suby Trans! Check this out!

I have been out playing with Hondas in college so I haven't been around but I came across this today. Take a look...

This swap with the trans should move the motor up and forward according to it creator and should keep you from having to cut any sheet metal and keep the oil pan from being so low to the ground.

Reverse cut ring and pinon that gives you 5 forward and 1 reverse gear with the Suby trans in the VW place

*Just realized I should have put this in the Trans Forum. oh well, if a mod agrees and moves it so be it*

Here is a build thread of this swap happening! It is a going into a Vanagon but you can see someone do this on their own! The only part this guy is going to be using from SubaruGears is the flipped ring gear

The SubaruGears guy has also created a set of mounts for us to use this fit in a beetle! The only thing I see that is missing is a wiring harness to plug the stock ECM into and run the motor
