VSS Solutions
http://www.smallcar.com/speeds.htmAdapts a stock Vanagon speedometer to accept the VSS Sensor in place of the stock cruise control
http://www.customoffroad.com.au/partFull.asp?partid=99Pugs straight into any VW speedo and Cable with a VDO Speed Sensor for the ECU signal
the VDO part number is 412.009
$150 AUD, $135 USD?

Some people talk about putting magents on the CVs and making there own system with stock suby parts. I dont trust myself enough to go that way but for someone else that might work.
