Has anyone put a ford 2.8L V6 in a street bug??

Since I own both of these items and I've seen the adaptor plate/kit for it I am curious to know of anyone whose done this. My ford 2.8L v6 is the north american version 3 port exhaust. I've had the heads redone with enlarged valves and I've also ported and polished the intake and exhaust ports. I also have the Offenhauser 4barrel intake for it along with the Holley 390cfm carb, and a stage 2 cam from racer walsh. I think this will motivate the bug quite well!!! What mods will I have to do to the transmission and body work to make this work???

Can't remember his name right now, But if you do a search, You should be able to find him.
Trans mods-I would plan on a set of 3.88s, a tall 4th gear and a Beef-a-diff.

Hey, thats my car! and I did that 20 years ago. That car was really fast and fun to drive.
