building on a patented claim I'm wanting to know if standard building codes apply to house construction on a patented claim of the county in which the claim is located.

Re: building on a patented claim Patenting results in fee simple ownership with mineral rights. If building codes exist in the county or state, they exist for patented mining properties and keep in mind the codes for industrial development.
