The next election can't come soon enough. I think most Americans are anxious for this national colonoscopy to be over.

The colonoscopy ended when Dumbya left office. It'll be a few more years before we dig ourselves out of the trash pile he put us in.
And the "American Taliban" that website wants would be worse. Why replace garbage with an even smellier pile of garbage? |

Charlene …thanks for the link!
More and more people are waking up from this madness everyday. Here’s a great little film you might enjoy. It was made by Aaron Russo, the same guy that produced the movies “Wise Guys” and “Trading Places”. It’s called “ America: Freedom to Fascism” |

We can only hope that enough people are aware of what's going on come November and vote them out. Otherwise our future is pretty bleak.

I'd like someone to explain the "math" of this new health insurance bill. I keep hearing "affordable health insurance for everyone", over and over, how "wonderful" it will all be, from the liberal left.
Although this all sounds "P.C.", and gives some hope for the chronically ill, I have mixed feelings about it. Insurance companies are NOT in business so they can lose money. They either make money, or go out of business, it's just that simple. In the past they would simply refuse to insure certain people. (I'm not saying that's good or bad, it's just the way it was) But, now, if the gov. here on out is going to force them to insure everyone, then they will HAVE TO raise the rates for everyone, in order to cover medical expenses associated with those who are newly insured, but who are not healthy. How is that going to translate into "affordable" insurance for everyone? What they are saying simply does not add up... ![]() I am very afraid of what this is gonna end up costing us, and how that will degrade our standard of living, especially in retirement years when the average wage earner will have such limited income. My $.02 worth... Marshall |

Insurance company costs add up to 4% of the pie for health care. But they sure are easy to blame.
New bumper sticker idea: Why is it your civic duty to pay for my health care? Or the alternate: Why is it my civic duty to pay for your health care? This is not copyrighted. -Z |
