Dredging in California

Hi All
Here's a news report about how the economy is pushing more people into looking for gold. The fellows shown are dredging Aug 11. Did the law banning powered dredges go into effect in California yet?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32536094/ns/us_news-washington_post/

Thanks steve. I see after reading story over a little better that the new law isn't being enforced yet.

Re: Dredging in California

Perhaps time to have a better look at CA Pt and PGE (mainly Ir, Ru and Rh). Prices are currently equal to Au, panning skills are the same ...and localities are well known:

C.A. Logan: "Platinum and allied metals in California".
Calif. State Mining Bureau, Bull. 85, Aug. 1918, 120 pp + locality index +maps.

Incentives should be much brighter now than during the last Gold Rush, when the US Mint refused to buy Pt from the miners, or for a peanut price.

What a shame: those guys were dredging because they had all lost their jobs....no income....dredging was their last hope. Then the gov. and judges in California took that away from them too...

Re: Dredging in California

And the greatest tragedy of all is that the vast majority of Americans have no clue that the controlled demolition of the US economy was planed many, many years ago. Sooner or later, however, when enough Americans have lost their jobs, and their freedoms and liberties are a distant memory, they'll morn as they remember the voices of long dead patriots.

Thomas Jefferson: "If the American People ever allow the banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers occupied. The issuing power of money should be taken from the bankers and restored to Congress and the people to whom it belongs. I sincerely believe the banking institutions having the issuing power of money are more dangerous to liberty than standing armies."

The Federal Reserve is a private bank issuing the currency of the US (Federal Reserve Notes) as a debt to the American people. In other words, the Federal Reserve issues US dollars out of thin air with absolutely nothing more than a ledger entry and the American people then owe these private bankers interest on all money created. But there's never enough money created to pay both the principle and the interest back to the Federal Reserve. The system is designed to fail and the banks that own the Federal Reserve are preparing to destroy the American people to pave the way for their tyrannical global government (New World Order).

This is not a right-left political issue. This is, in fact, a matter of life and death, a battle between freedom and tyranny.

Just imagine if Thomas Jefferson were alive today what he'd think of the fact that everything he feared most has come to pass. We not only have a private consortium of international bankers issuing our currency but we also have a federal government and a standing army bought and paid for by those bankers ready and primed to destroy the American people.

May God preserve our Nation and our liberties.

Welp, if Tom says so...

Would the jobs being lost (5% to 10%) have been there in the first place, if the fed / banks were not
existential?

Does Tom think we should have something other than notes, therefore no growth, which might just be fine?

A tent works for me also.

Re: Dredging in California

Tom (Thomas Jefferson) believed that the principles of the US constitution, if adhered to, would be sufficient to keep the republic strong. The US constitution mandates that Congress alone (not a private bank or a consortium of the world's wealthiest families) has the power to coin money (coin was a term that applied to the printing of paper currencies in those days also). Most US citizens don't realize that the main reason for the American Revolutionary war was the burden of the debt currency mandated by the crown and issued by the Bank of England (a private bank).

Just prior to the Revolutionary war the colonies began printing debt free fiat currencies that we so strong in promoting prosperity that the crown and the banks determined to put an end to the American experiment with debt free currencies. But even after the Revolutionary war was won the pressures from the Bank of England to impose a debt based currency upon the American people was strong and this was what prompted Tom's warning to the American people.

But unfortunately, the American people are easily manipulated (mind-controlled) by the money and power of the corporations (the newspapers then, but now cable news networks) that Tom feared, and in 1913 Congress passed the Federal Reserve Act which set into motion the destruction of this Nation, first by inflation (the roaring 20's) and then by deflation (the Great Depression). This same pattern of boom and bust economies is happening today and virtually none of the American people understand the truth, that their debt currency is managed by the money masters to destroy them and impose the tyranny of world government upon them.

I suppose that most people who hear Tom's words today think this all must be some sort of joke or coincidence. But Tom's words are ringing true today for increasingly more people, people dumbfounded by speed at which the tyranny is advancing.

Your question and comment regarding "no growth" resulting from some other currency other than our current debt notes ignores the historical facts, something like the question "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" Therefore, your question begs a false conclusion. The debt free currencies of the thirteen colonies and this fledgling republic produced a prosperity unknown in the modern world. Combined with the liberties of a constitutional republic our Nation grew quickly to be the most powerful Nation on earth.

For many Americans, ignorance is bliss, but only so long as they have a job and a home. Take those things away, as Tom feared would happen, and ignorance fades to anger and confusion. But will it be too late? That's the question, because without the knowledge and understanding of the forces acting to deprive them of their prosperity, the American people are little more than ignorant slobs and serfs.

Re: Dredging in California

Don't let the "wife beating" get in your way.

If you take time to look at "prosperity", when did that occur?

Before or after the debt.

Debt = Growth.

Without debt, you have no growth.

Now, nothing wrong with living in a tent.

It is not a mater of Debt, but the concern is "how you spend".

Money flows, it's that simple.

In about 100 years from now, they'll be saying "Skate said it".
