Sweet Ruger! Are you going to scope it? Love the grips. Are they Zebrawood, Bocote?
Man, Nuglor, what a nice collection! An AK should fit in perfectly. I wish I would get an HK 91. Very seductive rifle!

Same problem with mine. I went ahead and put in a Tapco trigger and disconnector when I put in the RSA hammer. Have you used any optics on it yet?

Romanian Laminate stock. But Heck for $279.00 and it shoots great and barrel condition not bad. Solid screw build. Came with a Bulgarian mag. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Went to the Range today. Perfect weather. PC, very light breeze, had our first frost so no bugs, 68 degrees. Shot at 25-50-75, didnt go to 100 because by then my eyes were
worn out. She shot terrifically. Did not need to recenter. The heavy weight and barrel made for very comfortable shooting with only light recoil. The FH also did a great job at cancelling the fireball. I know because after I shot my breakless Sar 3. The range is public, and well kept. No asinine rules. 3$ an hour and they provide as many targets as you want. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I've got a Mossberg 500 12 guage, modified for clip feed, and just ordered a Kel-Tec SU-16CA.
Probably the only still-legal 223 clip fed semiauto rifle in Kalifornia. I guess there's a holdup on the CA models so I gotta wait a month or more till it comes in. sigh.

We have odd laws with our silencers I have one on FAC to use with my Brocock Fox rifle (would be the same if it was a Rimfire or Centerfire) but have others on my PCP Airguns which work better but do not need to be on FAC because the are used on sub 12 ft/lb guns.
The funny thing is my FAC just says Silencer so I could use anyone. Have a look whats inside them. inside

Yes, it isnt dificult to get a class 3 firearm, or make your own silencer, or anything like that, but people dont like jail. So most sane people dont take the chance.

Since the import ban, all non sporter rifles had to be US parts compliant(922). To get an AK they would be neutered to meet US laws. Since the Assault Weapon Bans fall in Sept of 2004, AKs can once again have their full mystique with all the evil parts(flash hiders, bayos, hicap, pistol grips..) but they still have to be parts compliant.
So people order parts kits which are basically decommisioned full auto assault weapons that have had their receivers hacked(without a receiver they are considered non guns and can be delivered to your doorstep. But receivers have to be transfered registered to FFLs before you can pick them up). I have all the parts from kits to build a functioning class 3 firearm, but NEVER would. So we slap on a US receiver and the proper number of compliant parts and have our own sporter purpose weapons ![]() ETA: Its a little more detailed than what Ive said but thats the gist of it.

Just a loophole. Our government is full of them. No government is perfect, and leaving anything to assumption in law leads to loopholes. I would rather have a clone anyways, better made usually.

This might sound like a silly question from the other side of the pond but why did you have to buy the AK in bits.
I realise it's to get round some law but if you can't get it whole why can you by it in bits.
