Groundhog Day!!!
Nice Rad. I remember those, the "Ruger Luger" Funny how you never forget your "first time" I'm not sure if the CB's will throw back the bolt, but you never know. I'm hooked on those CB's. I'm thinking about a .22 mag pistol that will handle mags, LR, and CB longs like this: ![]() Held this at the store the other day and it feels like a nice target pistol. If anyone has one of these chime in, I'd like to hear your opinion.

Just won this the other day. Works great but decided to get a new spring assembly as these are close to 50+ years old. 20$ not much. Royal PITA to disassemble and reassemble. Thank
God for u tube! But no one mentioned the positioning of the upper to allow reinstallation of the retaining mechanism. No biggy. Just soft malloted the frame back a bit and all lined up and closed up neat. Love these Rugers. First real gun I ever shot as a kid and swore one day Id have one. Well now I do! Will take new home pictures to post. VERY accurate. Curious about CBs. We'll see. Rad http://www.gunauction.com/search/displayitem.cfm?ItemNum=10722462

DnC, i love it! You've maintained it very well! The DO collect a high premium at auctions but so few are ever posted. Thats a keeper for the next at command
DnC, I HUNT these group of rifles ALL the time. .22 and esp C&R eligible ones catch a very nice price. Heck Id buy it if u were selling! 22 are so accurate the become almost instictual shooters that you bond to and become almost fanatical about how you feel the rifle can hit anything you want. Enjoy it my friend! -Rad ETA: Guns are like GOLD! There are so many and our populous is so hungry for firearms that its easy to triple or a llot more your initial cost. I bought a Polytech 762 double folder for 700.00 and sold for over 1400.00 After having it for 3 years! I have a lot to sell. Would give a great select price for my buddies here. Let me know.

Rad I think you'll appreciate this. This is my first gun, the Winchester Model 75 Sporting with the 24" barrel. Got handed down to me when I was 10 yrs old, and hasn't left my side since. For a city kid, it was a pretty big deal to have a gun in possession since age 10! My Dad put on a nice little rear sight and dialed it in right before he gave it to me and it was dead on! Has the original Winchester 5 round mad and I just found these 10 round pro mags which required a little filing and re-bluing to get em' to fit. I have an after market leather sling that I bought about 35 years ago which is very similar to the original.
![]() I can't believe what some of these are going for. There were about 89,000 made between 1938-1958. I saw a mint one in the 83,000 # range with box asking $3,999. Mine is in the 13,000 # range so was probably built in the early 1940's. Average $$ seems to be $800 - $1,100 for the Sporting model. I recently brought it out to shot some of those CB caps and had forgotten how fun it is to shoot this gun! Cheerz

You are correct! I call them P90's in general. Thought I could get away with street talk on the bbgun forum
BTW I thought modern warfare (COD) made the p90 famous. On another note I do miss Stargate though.

ST, your a man who appreciates a fine bullpup. Don't you also have the FN PS90? I was looking and there is a Raddlock kit that could make it CA legal, is it legal in MA?
cpu77 that MSR MK22 looks sweet. Looks like they want a piece of the Sig 522 market. Speak'n of which, I took possession of the Sig 522 and discovered that in addition to the 10 rnd mag requirement, they also welded on the flash supp to make it CA legal. Other than that it is the same. I gotta say, it is a very easy rifle to tear down and was one of the cleanest new guns I've bought (other than the 4" tie wrap I found in the breach of the barrel ? Hope to go to the range in the next week or so!

Cool thing, Sony, I wanted to buy one of those S-AEGs as a new casing for the Drozd interior, too, but I forgot the last auction ended..
They have the advantage that there is alot of room for the solenoid, a new valve and BBs in the stock while being short, still possessing a long barrel.

I just invite the neighbors over to shoot.
There is a little 70+ year old woman that lives north of me, she was complaining a few years ago but I got her set up with first the ruger .22 and then she even took on the 12 gauge (very light load and it is a semi auto so very gentle). I haven't heard a peep for almost 3 years. I like to rattle off a few shells every once in a while, it keeps people from nosing around if you DO have to kill something. That lady still won't let me kill the magpies when they retreat back to her yard though

We had something like that here, so you wouldn't have to get scammed for smog checks every two years, but Arnold did away with it. Thanks Govenator Azzhole. cpu77 Holy crap, if I had unlimited funds I would do it just like you did. What's that on the top shelf that looks like a shhhhhh silencer? The thing about CA is they warned us, we knew it was coming, and there was a rush on all things to be banned. The prices shot up because everyone wanted to grandfather in their hi caps and assault style weapons. More of the guns to be banned came into the State in that year then probably would have in the coming ten years. Here's what's funny, you can own and use hi cap mags if they were pre ban and you owned them here in CA, and you can still order and have delivered high cap mags for parts to repair the existing legal mags. So, I could order and have complete mags but to be legal, cannot assemble them or use them. So, I have legal hi cap mags and I also have several for parts, but if SHTF or Zombies ever happens I would probably assemble the parts mags

Thanks Guys! The funny thing is I only had 3 guns in 2005! A 10/22, Remington 870, 1937 Savage O/U. Then I the got the bug bad
Cam yes thats a grenade launcher. Only 37mm its not register as a Destructive Device Though. So it just shoots flares and smoke I am still waiting on my Drozd. I hope it comes this week. it actually got my looking at other air guns. I pulled out my crosman 760 from when I was kid to fix. I bought a flat top valve reseal kit. I am wanting to add a 24" barrel it has a riffled 18" now. Then maybe shoot it with duracoat or something. Getting it ready for my boy.
