Unlike many .25's Ive held, this one seems to have a little more heft to it. Nice having the small finger extension on the mag. Some times a situation just calls for a small concealable. 3/4 of the time, maybe more, in any situation its just seeing one is armed that deters a situation from going any further. Still one shot, one kill! Nice RG D&C!

If my memory serves me correctly, I paid $60 in the early 80's. Again I like your deal better.

I just reblued it yesterday and put a finish on it today. New picks to come. I also redid my Beretta 92C(Centurion). Pics to follow. OI also redid the entire wood furniture on a 2 shot bolt action 410/45LC and reblued the metal and tuned the feed and bolt action. Looks and operates great.

Everyones jumpin all over these little vest pocket jobs so I grabbed this little .25 cal German Rohm(a cheapo by German stds) for 50.00. Everything works fine and no cracks or real pitting just contact wear! Was going to get an extra mag but 30.00! Ill pass unless one of these gun shows or a board member somewhere has one. Very comfortable for a vester-even has the pinkie extension so it fits just right. Just another CC if it proves reliable.

I assume its the same ABS derivative plastic used in glocks. The durability and wear life. particularly concerning the rails has come a LONG way. They resist corrosion and tend to have longer lives than many fully steel weapons. Thats why you see a lot of sporting rifles with synthetic stocks as well as even some military like Ive seen with the Chicom M14A1. Now a large percentage of aks are going poly as its cheap, long lived and light weight. Weight IMO would be the major point in the trends to polymere. As far as the Nagants, the first were produced in 1898-therefore if you get one of this stamp any joe can have one sent to their home as it needs no FFL and is considered an antique. The Mosin Nagant has been produced through world war 2 and into the 1950's and by numerouse different countries. Particulary popular are the Finnish models as well as the Austrian Steyrs, Argentine Carucano(sp?) Venezuelan, Spanish and many other. Any more ?'s let me know-Rad

Rad, two questions. How do they get away with so much plastic in a handgun? Is this plastic special? Is it as strong as steel? Your new Russian gun.Is this the standard bolt action rifle of the second world war and is this the gun that the Russians used as their sniper rifle? GD.

yeah, I think I agree. I have enough black guns. Very few 2 tone and this color does seem to work. Black would make the gun look to small.

This is one of the most comfortable inconspicuous CC guns one could ever totally forget one has on! The bigger CC is my Glock 27, but its twice the thickness and reliability it comparable. May Rit it black(I know I can by the black polymere and it drops in).

The Mosin Nagant: the only nitrocellulose powder cartridge rifle that is NOT legally considered a "Firearm", BY LAW, in the U.S., since it was designed in 1897, and therefore predates the Federal Gun Act of 1898, by one year, and is thus legally "grandfathered" out of the classification. The Colt 1873 "Fronier Six Shooter" is the only other one that I know of. I used to have one, 3rd gen Colt (1973 reissue), and they are chambered for the 44-40 Henry rifle, only a very limited run was made for the army chambered in their pre existing 45 LC, those are called the "SAA's", and they never made any more like that. Of course, that doesn't mean anything, because LEO types don't give a shit about what is or isn't legal, and make up the laws as they see fit. In my experience, they are worse than the criminals, and LOTS less honest. I guess it's the job society reserves for the kind of people that went around setting peoples cats on fire when they were kids. Punks took away my Fronier Six, and wouldn't give it back, law or no law, THEIR LAW, the "it looks like a GUN to ME" won out, since they make up the rules. We create the problem, though, because we don't kill enough of them to cull their herds, and remind them who they work for. Facists suck.

Older Nagants there were more of HEXAGONAL receivers. Considered rarer and more collectable. This one has matching bolt and receiver, copper pinned stock collars, all 4 brass eschuleons, the sling is original Russian issue, barrel has not been counterbored and rifling is strong. Ill take pic of the second nagant I got, as well as the Kel-Tec P32 I nabbed for a great price!
ETA: I missed out on a Laminated Tula Mosin Nagant cause I didnt bid high and slept in-Im talking under 200.00 as opposed to over 400..! : (
