A lot of people are watching and looking for a review from someone whos purchased one. The question everyone has is if the CenterFire rifles are put together by Century whos record is tops with the M70AB2 but hit or miss on other builds or by them or another. The price is VERY right and leave $$ for mods and ammo. I may have gone for one if I hadnt had this deal and the easy of a face to face to save ship and FFL fees. Plus I have the confidence of the builder a friend and his insurance. The receivers are top notch, that question is answered. He said the parts fit perfectly and required no tweaking.
Read and Favorite this thread to follow for reviews. Im Marco on the board. http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=92&t=93087&page=1 http://www.akforum.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18872

Radical,
Is 799.00 a good price these days for a Galil. Centerfire has some for that price.

Switched her over to ARM. I had to do some fitting of the new ARM handguard and the carry handle with the built in rear ARM handguard retainer and cut the notch for the pivot joint tap tap *@&@^%#^%@ and VOILA, a Galil ARM:

Thats nice match barreled rifle. But Im more for the standard features. I have a M95 Yugo which is 223 and very accurate, as well as Im sure the Galil will be.
B West Receivers are US made and crap. But B West imported A LOT of original preban AKs made in Chine. This one has China on it so its good. The Polys in this style go for 1100-1300. Expect a bidding war on it. I dont think the guy new its value and assumed it was a US B-West.

Just to show what Legends start at at auctions and the underfolders typically 30% give or take 5% more.

That is without a doubt one of the finest looking legends Ive ever seen and Ive seen many! You would have been nuts to pass on that or at least sent it my way
![]() That is the natural wood finish of the Chu wood and its gorgeous! I kid you not, people would kill to have a Legend like that! Dang man, you dont start slow do ya!? The Legend Underfolder is considered by many the single best AKS to get. Followed or tandem with the SASM 7. I have yet to get a milled AK. The Legend IS what I am looking for in a milled. Youll find the Chicom folder position very comfortable compared to the Euro folders. Now you need ammo, and LOTS of it as well as mags!

O.K.... Here it is. My new Polytech Legend AK-47. I got it still new in box with 3 clips and cleaning kit and strap. No bayonet, but that will come soon enough. I thought 1200 was a VERY fair price for NIB. Thanks to Radical for all his help and info.

AHH Yes the dreaded atomic hamster.Vestige of the mutations from atomic testing. Migrated from New Mexico northwest to establish there abominable colonies. It could be TEOTWAWKI ! Only the most reliable weapon for such harsh conditions of the North west. Recommended depleted uranium round are the only round capable of penetrating their mutan armadilotite exoskeletol skins. Sneak tactics are recommended as startling them causes them to spring 15 feet into the air with all 4's splayed like a flying squirrel.
Fire fast and fire furious as the will else land on yourr cranium and munch down into your brain and then you become a (shudder) Hambie! A mindless vegetation consuming monster with no espect for tomatoes! Take heed!

Okay, I'll admit it. SOMETIMES even Olpistolpacker needs backup and the Drozd arsenal just won't cut it.
Here is a typical story: Granddaughter's third grade class has particularly vicious hamster that can't be trusted alone all weekend in the class with other, more docile rodents. Hamster sent home with volunteers each Friday after school. Granddaughter's turn. Got call on the cell Saturday afternoon in total panic. Hamster escaped and was terrorizing kitty and the parakeet. Family holed up in window well of the basement. Drozd put way too many holes in the drywall last spring when the diamond back escaped so we had to opt for the underfolder Yugo M70AB2 AK-47 to limit damage. Urban Hamster Hunter in action. ![]()

OPP,
You have a Walther P-1. It is a post WWII manufacture P-38. All parts, except the frame, are steel. The frame is made from aluminium to save weight and costs. These were made for the Greman military and police because they already had the tooling from the war. At some point in the 50's-60's HK became a player and modernized the German handgun field. You might find some of these P-1's with WWII marked slides and barrels. These were used because they still had them in inventory. Don't be afraid to shoot it. Since they are plentiful, and not NAZI marked, they have no collector value. ENJOY!

Thy demand is my command. Besides, maybe somebody can tell me a bit about this Walther P38. The frame says it was made in 1962 but the slide and barrel are brand new with matching serial numbers and never fired. I rather like the design that dates back to WW II, apparently. It is 9mm with two seven round mags and holster as shown. I only had to cough up $249.00 for it so I figured I would only be out a new Drozd and a half.

Nice try man, but I love it! Recoil is right about the same as a .44, maybe a little more. It find it impossible to hit anything at all in double action but aside from that it's so much fun I'm surprised there isn't a law against it (yet.)

it shouldnt be a painful experience even with the 400 grain bullet they are not all that bad for a handgun that delivers around 2700 ft lbs of energy.Other than the price of ammo the 500 is one of my favorite wheel guns to shoot. If you dont like it let me know and maybe we can do some trading

I forgot to mention that I got another AKS-762 double underfolder. There are 2 now. This is the newer.
![]() Im planning to pick up my newest purchase next weekend. An Israeli AR in .223. It will have a bipod mount and Ive picked up the hand guard, carry handle and bipod to convert to an ARM configuration. This is almost exactly as it would look ![]() When I put the ARM parts on: ![]()
