I used to fill my tanks at the FD. Then my buddy who worked there left so I didn't really feel comfortable asking a stranger. There is no legitamate reason for them to not fill your tank for free. They do it for police so if you pay taxes, and have a tank with a good hydro in theory they should do it.
I have my compressor figured out now so if you decide to buy the same one I can give you some pointers. If you want the 220 V version I posted the link for it on the other forum. They are slightly less expensive. | ||||

Remember way back when it was suggested to try the fire department to see if they would be willing to fill for a donation??
Ehh. Not really what I would want to do, but still an option. Maybe it's time to buy a compressor?

And I have no idea where else I can get my tanks filled. They did sell me an 80ft tank with a one month old hydro for $75, but it was supposed to be filled already, and was empty. They sold the compressors already, so refills were already out of the question.
