I'm not sure if this is the right place to this or not but........is there a place to add a url for a background? besides just having a solid color, having a picture?

Sure,

Click on "Edit Board Template" in your admin center, then go to the CSS. Look for something like:

Code:

body{background:#ffffff;}

And change it to something like:

Code:

body{background:url('http://domain.com/image.gif');}

There will be a much easier way to do this soon. :smile:

When adding the background the CSS way, it doesn't work for me.

Now if I use easy customization, do I need to put tags with it, or do I just enter the url?

AND

once I use easy cust. in order not to ruin the rest of my css code, do I check that box, and if I check that box, will it still add the background? Because so far it hasn't and I'm sure I'm doing something wrong... hope I was clear enough!

Ah,

I see the problem. You have:

Code:

body{background:url('http://members.hometown.aol.com/segilb2001/images/primbg.gif);}

for the CSS. You're missing a ' in there - it should be:

body{background:url('http://members.hometown.aol.com/segilb2001/images/primbg.gif');}

Hope that helps :smile:

Yup, you'll need to put the full URL. But if you use easy customization AND CSS, you'll probably have to remove the backgrouund url/colours from the CSS for it to work :smile:
