Community Calendar Update ( 01:10:54 WedApr 9 2003 )

The Community Calendar is now fully customisable on your Easy Customisation screen.

There are four areas:
  • the neutral area, where nothing appears - i.e. beginning and end of month
  • Calendar Days Alternate Color One
  • Calendar Days Alternate Color Two
  • Current Day Highlight
I just tried it out on a test board and it looks fantastic, so we know you'll enjoy playing with your color schemes here.

"the neutral area, where nothing appears - i.e. beginning and end of month

Calendar Days Alternate Color One

Calendar Days Alternate Color Two

Current Day Highlight"

might be a bug problem.....

I can change the color for the neutral area.
I can change the color for the Alt#1
I can change the color for Current Day.
but when i change the color for Alt#2.
it goes and puts the color in Alt#1, leaving #2 blank without a color.

if i pick blue for #1 and red for #2, #1 becomes red and #2 stays white.

Yes, you're right - we'll fix that. In the meantime, a temporary workaround is to delete all the colors, save, and then put them in again from scratch.

I don't know why but the Community Calendar doesn't show up on either one of my boards...I've gone through every step and it still won't show up.

The color change bug has now been fixed.

Annie, you need to enable the bottom infobar and the left hand portion of it as well, for the calendar to show.

What would I change to get rid of the brown bg box on the popup box when I click on an event on the calendar?Being I have brown print,I can not read the text of the message. Also what do I need to have checked in EC when making calendar changes so it only afffects the calendar and not the individual forums:thankyou: :bbrocks:

Actually you have a problem there, as both your board background and board text are brown. The possible options are (a) to change the board background color, (b) to change the board text color or (c) to just highlight the text in the popup box when you want to read it.

To make calendar changes that won't affect your forums in EC, make sure to check the box that says "Main Pages Only" and UNCHECK the box that says "Whole Board".

The thing is it's just unlucky that both your board background and text color happen to be the same, otherwise you wouldn't have this problem. Highlighting isn't ideal (and you'll have to telll your members about it), but it seems like the only option, if you don't want to change the colors.

Control & A will 'Select All' if you do that in a window, or input box so that might help. I know I use it when I've had to go fix templates that have white text on a white input background.
