New Post Notifications ( 05:09:23 FriOct 15 2004 )

This has happened a couple of times in the last 6 or so months. Somehow new threads are posted and for some reason the "Notify" thingy gets switched on. How? that is why I'm here to today! Hopefully someone can help!

The current message that I have been subscribed (but I've since clicked "un-notify" ... so not anymore) to is http://denim.bbboy.net/chatterpugs-viewthread?forum=8&thread=82 ... I've not had access to the internet in 2 weeks, so it isn't something that I've accidently clicked on! I am not subscribed to any of the forums ... so it isn't that! Unfortunately I can't remember the previous posts I've subscribed to

Can someone help? thanks!

btw ... it is private forum.

I'm not subscribed to any forums though. So there is no 'remove subscription from this forum' ... just 'Subscribe to new threads in this forum' at the bottom of every forum on the board.

I don't receive notifications for every new thread ... just random ones every now and then. Therein lies the problem that I'm hoping can be fixed

Does it only happen on 'chatterpugs'? Or do you sometimes get new thread notifications from other boards as well?

Also, do any other members at 'chatterpugs' experience the same problem?

If your only getting email notifications for new threads posted in that forum, it sounds like you've enabled the forum subscription feature in that forum  To disable email notifications when new threads are made, click on the 'Remove subscription from this forum' link at the bottom of the forum the new threads are being made in
