Board Plan: Variable

For some reason a couple of my members can't see emoticons on the frost server. Emoticons hosted on my personal server they can.

They are experiencing this on both work and home computers, all IE, Windows xp home and pro......

Any ideas?

Hi lakemich

Do they use firewalls like Norton Internet Security?

Due to people stealing our bandwidth, i'm afraid we had to disbale remote loading, which means that some users who use firewalls like Norton Internet Security 2003 might get red x's instead of images when trying to load images hosted on our server

If they use the firewall Norton Internet Security 2003 they can try following these steps which should make images viewable again:

*Go to Options, and select Internet Security.

*Go to the Web Contents tab.

*Find in the list of websites on the left and highlight it.

*Global settings should be the tab on top, if not, select it.

*Go to the second category, Information about visited sites, and uncheck the "Use default settings" box

*Click the radio button next to Permit.

*Click OK.

That should take care of any site at BbBoards, regardless of server.
