( 01:03:20 SatNov 2 2013 ) Interact Reply Quote Report To Mod Last Posts Ignore User Global Ignore Whisper I am worried that we have only received a small reaction to my reminder last week that we will be giving away 3 ounces of mostly nugget-gold at the close of business this coming Friday, 8 November. In fact, we have so far brought in less than a third of the contributions these drawings normally generate. Our attorney is making a federal preemption argument right now to the Third Appellate District that has a reasonable chance of overturning California's moratorium on suction dredging before the coming season. We also must decide, based upon the results of this fund-raiser, how much financial support we will pledge to overcome Oregon's recently-adopted suction dredge moratorium. Now is the time that we need all the support we can get! I was considering starting off the next fund-raiser with 25 American Gold Eagle coins so we can continue to make our legal fund-raising efforts appealing and interesting for you guys. We are going to have to see more participation to make that happen! Come on you guys; let's please not give up on winning our rights back to recover (our) gold out of America's rivers!
