I have seen many articles on the web (including minutes of Karuk meetings) of the Karuk's attempts and continued attempt to be allowed to operate Casinos (in the Happy Camp area and off-site in Yreca (sp) and often figured that was one of there main reasons for trying to get rid of us, but it seems I "MAY" have been looking in the wrong direction......

Not long after suing to stop suction dredging and being granted the moritorium they filed suit again....

This time against the USA for amounts to ALL the land with the National Forest there for their exclusive ownership and use....

I guess the best way to have little opposition is to eliminate everyone elses ability to use the area first...

I don't even have to read the lawsuit to conclude that maybe someone should start taking the Karuk's free ride with the Salmon fishing to court and take their self-sustainability numbers either completely or limit the take to the slim population, in fact, for the day an agreement was made in writing----even giving them the rights to kill fish at will.

They did not own the Klamath Valley then and they do not own the Klamath Valley now. GOD owns it all and his plan is for all of us to enjoy the fruits and the GOLD by our own free energies. OH California doesn't own it either.

Federal Law allows the miners to recover minerals----even
in the face of all wrongs being purpetrated(sp) against us.

IN PATIENCE, the miners will win.
