Water flow... ( 01:13:25 ThuNov 1 2007 )

I have a small recirculating sluice built around the EZ Sluice. Since I want to conserve battery power, does it hurt to turn the water flow on and off between clean outs?

The surge when you turn the water back on is the problem. The best way to tell how much of a problem it will be is to run a controlled test. Put some of your finest gold dust through out the sluice and turn the water on and off a few times. Observe if the gold moves down the sluice.
