We were at my mum's this weekend for her birthday (80th) and we had to take Gix out quite a bit as he was being left alone at times. There is a field at the end of her road so we walk there and let him have a run. He did this on Friday (pictures on art gallery) and then again Saturday, because it was 2 days in a row he only got half way round Saturday and he didn't eat at all so I was worried. Yesterday we took him again - this time my 2 great neices came who Gixer loves. He spent most of his time waiting for them and when we got half way round we met this absolutley handsome red 3 year old Boxer called Jake. He made Gix look tiny but I was so happy. Lately Gix hasnt been bothered playing with other dogs but yesterday he loved Jake. They had a box together then went for a sprint around the field - wish I had my camera! there was lots of growling and loads of slobber. Although Gixer is knackered today I am so pleased I saw my old boy back yesterday and thank you Jake for making it happen
