Gary was so excited at being allowed off lead again, jumping in the brook, having a swim, running round like a lunatic. However this morning he decided to go and say hello to a dog that he has seen before but obviously the other dog was not in the mood and lunged at him - Gary came back limping, the other dog had caught him on the shoulder and made a big gash so it was back to the vets again. He now has a further 6 staples, a head collar and has to wear a sock on his back leg when no-one is around so that he cannot scratch the staples!!! And obviously will not be allowed off lead again until staples are removed! Hope he's all fixed for our holiday in Cornwall a week on Saturday!!! Don't know whether he will have learnt a lesson either, poor boy, he just wants to play but rather vocally ..........
