The Staffie had good results but I wonder what would happen if they ever let her off leash around other dogs. You can get them as good as that on leash. As for the Weim, well I did think from the start that this was a big gambolling pup and part of what any gundog does is take its owner/s by the hand/arm and lead them about. He was a bit of a hooligon by all the jumping up and down but then most of us stop our pups from doing that long before 10 months. As regards the teeth marks he just hadnt learnt to be touch sensitive. In working circles you will hear them talking about a "hard" or "soft" mouth. A lot of the time folk dont realise that the big lolloping dog is really a big lolloping pup. Its a breed I admire and love!! Thanks for the tip that its on again at midnight cos I would normally be watching something else at the earlier time which wasnt on due to the awards and also for the tip that "Its me or the dog" is on tonight at 08.30pm. I will tape it. Ive seen it a couple of times but again its on at same time as something else I watch. Hey - do you think we will all be dog experts at the end of all these programmes!! Helen |

Did you see the bubble machine on "Its me or the Dog"???? Great isnt it. Im trying to get one for my little treasure but for some reason they are sold out! But i did find something called the Babble Ball. It evidently speaks to your dog when it plays with it...cant wait for it to be delivered, though i think i will probably enjoy it as much as Heskey! Liz Ps if you find Victoria Stillwell please tell her to call in (like now!!!) |

As for the Boxer - well, at 14 months what did they expect, hes only a baby. I wonder someone didnt tell them that before it got that far. I must admit I thought it a bit much to put a pup over 7ft jumps for his first time just to see if he could do it. I dont really blame his owners for leaving. Said at the end of it that one of them was now training to be a dog trainer and Zeb was doing agility. We dont really know what that trainer had in mind for Zeb for the test in agility. Yes, you do need to be fit for agility - I would like to do it with Katie so I will have to tone up [a lot!! he he]. Helen |

I wondered how long he was left alone at home for to cause that much destruction? He was obviously just a young bored pup with two owners who didn't have a clue what a boxer was all about? Great fun - more boxers on the telly I say!! |
