I let Gixer out in teh garden this morning for his morning wee, I left the back door open as uual then went up to get dressed. When I went back down the door had blown shut so I opened it and called....... no bouncing boy greeting me after being left in the cold for 10 mins. I checked upstaris in the spare bit of the bed but not there either. I had an idea - check behind the shed where the OH has been clearing - good idea - found Brett had cleared all the rubbish AND the fence panel, PANIC!!!!! Woke up Brett with lots of shouting and screaming, went behind the shed whistling and calling then went about 2 gardens up until a fence had collapsed and I could go no further but a Boxer could. I was nearly crying at this point so went out the front spotted some neighbours and asked Have you seena White Boxer? "NO" so I explained what had happened and they suggested try the next road, all the time I was waiting to hear the squealing of breaks etc as we are near to a busy road. I went back and decided it was quicker to drive as I pulled out of the driveway I spotted a girl with a rather large white "yo-yo" attached to a lead!
I went over to her and thanked her for returning him. He had gone in her back garden in teh next road. Brett told him off but although Gixer had had a lovely adventure I think he was scared too as he kept sitting next to me just looking really relieved! Thank goodness he had his collar and name tag on I read to think what could of happened - nice way to start the week!

OMG Georgie, I would have been hysterical. If I open the back door and call and they don't come straight away, my heart flips a little. I can't imagine what you must have been going through!!

Oft that would have been scary. I can't even let Kai out in the garden alone as he's small enough to squeeze through the front fence. Although at the rate he's growing at that won't last long.
