I have put some recent photos onto the Photobucket. The park and bay ones are fairly recent. Daz was 8 years old past June, the photo you have already used, he must be about 10 months old.
His left ear is healing up slowly, the stitches came out last week. In June it started to swell, vet gave him a course of anti-biotics, the swelling continued. Vet decided to operated to relieve the pressure and cotterise the burst blood vessel which was leaking into his ear flap. The pictures tell all. It took two days to clean the house of blood spatter.

After the Op. Daz kept shaking his head, so I must assume it was bothering him somewhat. This was also the cause of the spatter spread from ceiling to floor.
