Had our annual hospital fete and dog show yesterday. Started off with the obedience display and Gixer once again didn't disappoint lol

He started off well then I think he realised he had an audience. We did a "calling away from other dogs" which ends with them sitting infront of us and then they are supposed to come to heel. Well he just dug his paws in and sat there!!! When we moved off to do heel work he refused to move then when he did he bounced round spending more time in the air than on the floor!!! It wasn't too bad as the instructors dog wouldn't stay!!! I think the crowd likes it more when they misbehave.

Did the show and this year the judge liked him and didn't mind getting limed each time she touched him. He got 3rd in most handsome dog, 1st in best large dog ove 18" and 4th in dog the judge would like to take home. He was embarrassing again as he spotted the ice ceam van and was watching that rather than behaving in the ring. But we had a good day.
