Chitter Chatter

I have stolen this idea from Nicky over on UKBD (sorry Nicky :flowerkiss: )

Sometimes you might just want to say something without starting a whole new thread. Well here's the place to do it.

Just a general waffle, what ever you want to say!!

What you mean Karen is that you waffle away so much over there you are becoming addicted and can't get enough so you need another one on here to give you your daily fix:pokingfun:

Only joking - I love reading that waffle away thread - it never really makes sense as there are so many things going on at once:headbangers:

Had the best nights sleep last night.....told hubby not to wake me when he came to bed last night as had no sleep past 3 nights...hurt my back....so he slept in the spare bed and took the dogs in with him...

Woke up at 4.30am with no pooches on the bed, no snoring..gotta say I did miss them, the dogs I mean....went into the spare room to find Ray curled up by Keiths pillow, snoring his head off...tried to wake Mille to get her to come back to bed with me...but she gave me the cold shoulder and wouldn't budge...so had to settle for the cat:sad:

I have a Committee meeting tonight :ohwell: Couple weeks ago I threw a strop because most of them were being so rude and not answering my emails!

Now the Treasurer has resigned (was lousy anyway) and is citing my excessive emails as one of the reasons!! Wish I had known that - would have spammed him months ago!! :computer:

Re: Chitter Chatter

Had THE most stressful walk ever today with the two girls!!

Sasha had her "tatty head" on and refused to even think about doing what I told her. She kept pinging off to see what else she could be doing. As well as this she decided that she wanted to bring a 7ft stick through a part of the forest where the trees were 3ft apart!!!!! It was driving her and me nuts!

There seemed to be more dogs than ever and while I had Sasha on the lead (she gets grumpy sometimes) Tizzy ran off to see them all, leaving me standing there like a demented idiot calling her back!!!

Came home and Tizzy went straight in and weed on the kitchen floor!!

Hubby home now - just getting a pizza

Re: Chitter Chatter

You gotta have some bad days to make the good days a whole lot better!!!:loveya:

Our walk this morning consisted of getting blown from here to kingdowm come, coming across a demented black lab that wanted to kill Mille` and Ray, but managed to stuff his head through some sheep wire as he was trying to get at them through the fence, while his owner was getting all in a fluster trying to grapple for the lead, then a little carpet sweeper shitzu ran into the field where Mille` and Ray were playing just to tease them and run off under the fence where they couldn't get at it. Then on the walk home it emptied down and we got soaked. Another day tomorrow, lets see what that throws at us:waa:

Re: Chitter Chatter

do some dog owners just seems to walk there dogs when the weather seems to pic up!?!?

We always walk scottbi to the same feild and we NEVER see anyone else never mind another dog when we go out for a walk but i know it's where everyone walks thier dogs.... but today coz the sun was shinning and the weather was warm enough not to wear a massive coat we saw THREE other dogs on the feild!
but they didnt wanna play with scottbi..... other dogs never seem to wanna play with scottbi.

Do you lot think some owners are just seasonal walkers? lol

Ha ha!!

I'll have you know we live in a fairly mild area of Scotland, have actually gone a whole winter without any snow here (so far!)

Am trying to decide wether or not I have the courage (or stupidity) to walk both my dogs on the lead down the street today??!! :dogwalking:

Re: Chitter Chatter

Gixer's fave place is the beach but one of us always has to be on dogwatch. Why is it that not many other dogs want to play with a Boxer? The other day I took him for a quick round the block walk as I'd overslept and bumped into my neighbour who also has a Boxer. Gixer and Boomer hadn't met before so decided to play in th middle of the path. When we untangled lewads the slobber started appearing and we had to make a run for it when they both shook their heads and all the cars got redecorated!!

Cant take Sasha to the beach too often. She thinks it is her duty to empty the Moray Firth and then always proceeds to rempty it over my carpets!! Tizzy hasn't been to the beach yet - too cold.

Ended up going to the woods with their best mate Pudding (choc lab). Sasha did her usual and stood in the middle of a puddle and went stone deaf to all my shouts to get out  Why??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :waa:

Re: Chitter Chatter

Did anyone who was watching Crufts and see Mary Rae do her dancing bit with her two collies?

Well the tan collie that was in from the start, Foxy, has tried to bite Sasha

She came up to the dog section up here to show the guys some clicker training - fairly impressive, but then collies are easy to train anyway!

Well I wanted to see if she could use the clicker to distract Sasha from zoning in on a dog and barking at them etc. Anyway, she tried for about 5 mins but Foxy (her collie) had her lips bared and teeth showing and she back out because she thought Sasha was going to bite her dog!!! It was really getting nasty with poor Sasha.

Oh well, collies are always perfect aren't they!!

Saw 3 deer this morning in the horses field and saw a hedgehog!! Well not quite true, managed to stab myself with a hedgehog!!!

Was filling up the horses haynet and grabbed a hedgehog that was nesting in the hay. It was huge!!! Took up some dog food meat for it, but couldn't find it anywhere, probably scared it away, will leave some food out for it tonight and see if it's back in the morning...

remember to leave some cat/dog meat out for them if it gets cold again....or they may starve if they can't dig up the ground for worms:sad:
