Can everyone else see the smilies in posts, all I'm getting is a red cross with the name of the smilie beside it, I can see all other photos, avatars etc. Even on this reply page all the emoticons are crosses. I don't know if it's the forum or mabe since I changed my firewall the other day?
Anyone else having a problem or is it just me  |

The only smilies I can see are the mood ones at the bttom of each post.

Do you have a pop-up blocker Linda? It may be that this is what is stopping the smilies.
I wish I could remember, but at one point I could see the smilies, but none were moving until hubby changed the settings on something??!! Can't ask him either as he is in the Gulf! |

I can see the smilies - but like Karen mentioned they are not moving - either it is something to do with my computor or they are very lazy!!!! Mine stopped moving when my husband changed our security settings - when i complained about it he said do you really NEED them......what could i say to that!!! It is definately something to do with the settings but i cant help you either. If i knew what to do i would have sorted mine out by now

Right when I do a "quick" reply there is a heading called emotions and if I click on it it brings smilies up - is that what you mean
 Ive often wondered how you all fill in your "mood" smilies at the bottom of your posts?Helen

Hi Helen
Where it says your current mood and a picture of a smilie next to it - just click on the actual smilie and it will bring up another box which says select your mood. Just choose which one you want and it will add it to your mood.

Helen the mood smilie is at the bottom of the forum, under the log out bit. :spinsmile:

Ok they're back now, it was the settings on the firewall that were causing the problem, thanks veryone for your ideas
