porsche/vangon swap
I've got an 85 vanagon with a 1.9 litre in it. I wanted to swap a porsche engine into it. I saw a boxster motor that looks really similar to the vw engine. Anyone ever researched this swap? Would a guy need the porsche trans as well as the engine? The porsche is a 2.5 litre but I'm not sure the year.
Anythoughts or help would be appreciated.
